The New Century Empowerment Project is an employment project of WORLDBRIDGERS designed to enhance the recovery of mental health consumers by increasing their involvement in the development of public community mental health systems as paid contractors.
Our partner organizations represent an extensive local and statewide network that has fostered development of WORLDBRIDGERS and will continue to facilitate our growth in areas outside the central Puget Sound.
The New Century Empowerment Project targets that need of our primary customers-public mental health agencies, which is to increase their effectiveness of their services. The project is a win-win scenario. Consumers benefit through paid employment positions as system designers; the public agency system becomes more efficient and effective.
